Background of FUAVE and Drone Tournament Otaniemi event
The Finnish UAV Ecosystem (FUAVE) project is setting up UAS test areas across Finland. Several test areas have already been established and they aim to provide a one-stop-shop for research, business, and applications – details can be found in the FUAVE test areas webpage https://www.fuave.fi/test-areas/. The FUAVE project is funded by Academy of Finland.
Ultrahack’s mission is to build a community where the best talent and leading industry partners could meet and collaborate towards future innovations via hackathons. On June 8-10, 2022, Ultrahack organizes the Drone Tournament 2022 – an amazing competition to precision control drones over land and sea.
The aim of the Otaniemi event is to address the congested airspace in the Helsinki metropolitan area that poses challenges to the implementation of drone-based services. During the day, we will hear about challenges, but also success stories, the latest developments, and ongoing projects. The presenters are leading companies, experts, and researchers in the field. We warmly welcome you to join this prestigious event.
